Each year, as we round up nominations for the Best of Atlanta issue, I come to the same conclusion: No other issue, in entirety, embodies who we are as a resource for and advocate of black business and professionals in metro Atlanta more than your choice “bests.”

We are equally as excited to receive the suggestions of new businesses for inclusion as we are to see that others are not only maintaining but thriving, consistently gaining new customers – including us. Our Best of Atlanta issue is one that I like to keep at my fingertips but inevitably reach for first when someone is visiting or new to the city. We’re covering more bases all the time, thanks to you. Simply put, it’s a must-have.

You’ve told us your favorite real estate agencies, barbeque spots, pet groomers, spas, clothing boutiques, galleries and more. And we’ve compiled them into more than 100 African American-owned businesses for your indulgence; sort of a little gift from us to you to kick off the holiday season.
