Former Atlanta Public Schools Superintendent Beverly Hall has died, 11Alive has confirmed. Hall had been battling Stage IV breast cancer. She died at her home on Monday morning. Last year, Hall’s oncologist revealed Hall had been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer that spread through several parts of her body. She was first diagnosed with the disease in 2004.
