Crime Stoppers Atlanta is offering up to a $2,000 reward for information leading to an
arrest and indictment of shooting suspect
East Point Police Investigators and Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta are asking the public for information on a Homicide Investigation. A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for:
On July 6, 2024, at approximately 11:16 p.m., East Point Police responded to the area of Harlan Dr. and Cedar Ave. where a block party was occurring. Ms. Andrea Priester was seated in the back seat of a vehicle when multiple shots were fired in the direction of the vehicle and Ms. Priester was subsequently shot in the back.
Ms. Priester was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Investigators are aware that there was said to be 100+ people at this event and very likely that someone seen the incident unfold and has firsthand knowledge of it.
Ms. Priester was a daughter and a mother. Investigators are asking for the public’s help who have knowledge of this incident.
